How does the Aerox® Polishing Sieve work?
* First step is the Aerox-Injector: fast oxidation by injecting activated oxygen:
- A very compact system; modular design: easy to install (plug and play) and easy maintenance/service. The injection principle makes it work without directly contacting the air from the process: no contamination.
- No supply of water, biomaterial, chemicals, carbon, etc....only supply of electrical power and ambient air.
- No waste at all.
* Second step is the Aerox-Polishing Sieve with synthetic zeolite modules:
- Adsorbing the remaining odour, enabling further odour reduction by oxidation reactions;
- Chemical adsorption and ion exchange inside the reactive sites of the synthetic zeolite.
- The remaining active oxygen from the Injector is continuously oxidizing the adsorbed odour molecules that are left behind in the Polishing Sieve, until they are small and can leave the polishing Sieve - as hardly/non smelling molecules. This is keeping the Polishing Sieve clean and offers a long lifetime.
- The combination from Injector and specially designed Synthetic Zeolite creates a very effective and high performance odour control system.
* Advantages of using two layers of synthetic zeolite:
- At the end of the (long) lifetime of the first layer, which can be checked easily if the Polishing Filter operates at overpressure (after the fan), there is enough time for changing it for fresh synthetic zeolite, since still the second layer will reduce the odour.
- In case of changing the first layer of used synthetic zeolite modules it is possible to install the existing 2e layer modules as first layer and install new synthetic zeolite modules as second layer!
* Low pressure drop; low energy consumption.
