A two step Solution

Two step Solution

Certain process air streams contain odour molecules that cannot be entirely removed by an Aerox®-Injector. Although the injector will certainly reduce odours significantly, it may not reach the reduction targets you have set.

Polishing Sieve

One interesting option in such cases is to place a Polishing Sieve behind the Aerox®-Injector. Essentially, the Polishing Sieve ‘catches’ the offensive odour molecules remaining after the active oxygen injection and oxidation process.

Please click on the picture below for the process diagram.

The Sieve comprises synthetic zeolite or activated carbon modules, taking advantage of the active oxygen still left in the process air from the Injector, which continues to treat the exhaust air as it is stuck in the Sieve. This process continues until the odour molecules are small enough to pass through the Sieve as non-, or hardly-smelling molecules.

Environmental Impact

Although the process is not as fantastically clean as using an Aerox®-Injector on its own, the Injector/Sieve combination is still an eminently eco-friendly odour removal solution. The only hitch is that the zeolite or carbon  modules do ultimately become soiled and require replacement. Aerox has the facilities to recycle the modules and so when they reach the end of their life cycle, we will replace and dispose of them in an appropriate manner.
