Biofilters offer good results in odour removal, especially applied to airflows with high organic concentrations. The major drawback, however, is that biofilters take up a lot of space due to the fact that air streams are treated at low velocities.

The Aerox®-Injector takes up little more space than a cupboard and can be easily mounted onto both vertical and horizontal exhaust pipes through which up to 60,000 m3/hour can flow. In addition, Aerox units can easily be switched on and off and can run at lower capacities in order to save energy and money in the case of less odorous production runs.
