We at Aerox have experience of building ozone generators for odour control. We stopped making them more than 12 years ago. They work, but have proven to consume a lot of energy, in addition to emitting unused ozone.

Ozone is not very reactive for our purposes and requires more contact time and higher stacks to yield the envisaged odour reduction targets. The technology is not efficient and not environmentally friendly.

Aerox decided instead to focus on developing the Aerox®-Injector, which generates highly reactive oxygen radicals and water vapour radicals using cold plasma, or NTP technology, to do the job efficiently.
