Aerox expands management team

Since the beginning of 2016 Aerox has expanded its management team. Erik Versteeg is the new Managing Director. He takes over Pieter Leenders’ operational and strategic tasks, who can now focus on business expansion and developments in odour reduction technology. Leenders and Versteeg are the perfect team to take Aerox to the next level.

Erik Versteeg has over 20 years experience in international business and excels at programme and project management, strategy development, change management and organisational efficiency. He has made his mark at companies like Simed International, Huisman Equipment and Draka Comteq.

Odour nuisance and demography

Versteeg feels at home in a technical environment. Also Aerox’ company size appeals to him. “Because Aerox is small, we can be very decisive. But we’re also a leading international supplier. This combination ensures plenty of chances for an already successful company like Aerox. While people living together in increasingly larger concentrations, dealing effectively with nuisance is very important. This social aspect is crucial for me.”

Neutral air guaranteed

By dividing management duties process technician Pieter Leenders can now focus on the technology itself. Working at Aerox for 12 years, Leenders has seen every step in the development of the Aerox-Injector up close. “It’s fascinating to see how we can convert more and more gases to a larger guaranteed percentage of neutral air, even by a relatively compact installation, requiring only electricity and no water. I feel very involved in our product and happily propagate it worldwide.”

Passionate team

Although Versteeg and Leenders have different backgrounds and perspectives, they share their enthusiasm. “Actually, the whole Aerox team is very passionate about our technology”, Erik Versteeg says. “An entrepreneurial spirit driven by expertise and passion is typical of our business culture.”
